Jake Paul has taken to social media to issue a statement after defeating Mike Tyson.
The two boxing stars went head-to-head in Texas last night (November 15) and successfully lasted for all eight rounds.
In light of neither being knocked out, the winner was chosen by the judges based on points, which Paul going on to win by a landslide.
In statistics shared after the fight, it was said that Tyson, 58, only landed 18 shots while Paul made a successful 78 blows to the sports champ.
In the wake of his victory, Paul has taken to Twitter to share a series of thank yous – including to Tyson.

In a separate tweet, Paul called out MMA star Conor McGregor.
“Dear Conor, I know you told my team you would fight me at 170lbs,” the 27-year-old penned.
“That’s never happening. But let’s run it in MMA. No weight class. Just like how it used to be done. But you won’t.”

His message to McGregor comes after he received backlash for a now-deleted tweet about Paul and Tyson’s fight.
Appearing to make reference to the 31 year age gap and Tyson having long been out of the game, McGregor jeered that Prichard Colon might be Paul’s next opponent.
The 32-year-old former professional boxer was left paralyzed after suffering a brain haemorrhage after his fight with Terrel Williams in 2015.

People were quick to brand McGregor’s remarks as ‘f***ed up’ before the tweet was quickly taken down.
Elsewhere, Paul mocked Gervonta Davis who has seemingly challenged him to a fight.
Davis taunted the YouTuber via his Instagram Story, writing: “To that bozo who shared the ring with Mike, you a whole bozo for this and you didn’t get the job done… One more thing, I’ma beat the brakes off Jake when I catch em… Upper cut, jab, jab, left hook, upper cut, hook. Watch.”
Paul has now responded and said that Davis is ‘just angry he’s not tall enough to ride rollercoaster at Disney World’.
“I’m sorry little buddy. I know it’s not fair,” he went on to jeer.
