Beth Moore Announces Departure from TBN, Charts New Path for Ministry
Renowned Bible teacher, speaker, and best-selling author Beth Moore has announced that her time with the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) will conclude at the end of 2024.
After nine impactful years, Moore shared the news in a heartfelt video, expressing gratitude for the opportunities the platform provided and revealing plans for the future of her Living Proof Ministries (LPM).
In her announcement, Moore reflected on the journey, describing her experience with TBN as a “grace gift” and quoting Psalm 126:2–3: “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” She emphasized the immense privilege it has been to share God’s Word with viewers and the deep joy of connecting with her audience through the weekly program.
A Transition Guided by Faith
Moore explained that the decision to step away from TBN stemmed from prayer and seeking God’s direction for Living Proof Ministries. Feeling a clear sense of closure, she expressed her excitement for the ministry’s next chapter, which will focus on expanding digital teaching efforts.
While Living Proof Ministries will no longer air its program on TBN, the teaching content will remain accessible and free through the ministry’s YouTube channel and app. These platforms will serve as the primary hubs for Bible studies and other resources, ensuring the ministry continues to reach a global audience.
Beyond Television
Living Proof Ministries expressed profound gratitude for its partnership with TBN, noting that the network enabled the ministry to reach people on an unprecedented scale. In addition to digital content, Moore plans to continue her schedule of in-person events, including her popular Living Proof Live gatherings, where attendees engage with her teachings and grow in their faith journeys.
As a gesture of appreciation for her supporters, Moore recently shared a free Christmas reading through the ministry’s Facebook page. The creative reflection imagined what Mary might have pondered the night after Jesus’ birth, showcasing Moore’s signature blend of biblical insight and imaginative storytelling.
A Year of Milestones
The announcement caps an eventful year for Moore. Her memoir, All My Knotted-Up Life, was honored as the 2024 ECPA Book of the Year. The memoir offers a candid account of her personal and spiritual journey, resonating deeply with readers. Additionally, Moore underwent major spine surgery earlier in the year, which brought significant relief from chronic pain that had affected her quality of life.
A Bold Voice in Faith and Leadership
Moore’s influence extends beyond teaching and writing. In 2021, she left the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), citing discomfort with its handling of gender roles, abuse, and politics. Now attending an Anglican church in Spring, Texas, Moore continues to be a prominent voice for change in evangelical circles.
She has also spoken out on political issues, particularly her criticism of former President Donald Trump, which has earned both support and backlash. Moore remains steadfast in addressing controversial topics, emphasizing authenticity and faith-driven conviction.
Looking Ahead
As Moore prepares for this new chapter, her legacy of faithful service remains firmly rooted. Through digital platforms, in-person events, and written works, she will continue inspiring and encouraging believers worldwide. Her unwavering dedication to opening God’s Word and fostering faith ensures her ministry’s enduring impact for years to come.
